Why Governor Fayose’s account was frozen


On Monday the governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, a relentless critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, stirred yet another controversy.
He told journalists that he had gone to do some transactions at a Zenith Bank branch in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, but was shocked to find that his account with the bank had been frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Supreme Court upheld Rev King death sentence , To die by hanging



The Supreme Court has affirmed the death sentence passed on the  General-Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (aka Rev. King), ‎by a Lagos High Court in Ikeja for the murder and attempted murder of some members of his church in 2006.

An Off-Duty Policeman Shot and Killed a Man in St. Louis

Another shooting involving a police officer just happened in the St. Louis area, and once again the details are sketchy. An officer in South St. Louis who was off-duty and working a second job attempted to do a "pedestrian check." The suspect fled, and the chase ended with the cop shooting and killing the man. But the details of what happened during the pursuit are unclear, as accounts from police and witnesses differ.

The US Ebola Patient Has Dies At Dallas Hospital

After his condition deteriorated over the weekend, the Dallas Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan has died, according to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. Duncan passed away on Wednesday morning.
